Apple Intelligence Released - What's New? iOS 18.1 beta 1 was released today to registered developers and it gives us a preview of the groundbreaking Apple Intelligence features that are going to change the way that you use your iPhone going forward. In this episode, my intentions are to help you learn most of the new additions to the software that were announced including the new game-changing Siri with context awareness, the writing tools, and call recording that comes to iOS 18. This is currently still the same old Siri, just with a facelift. Actual NEW Siri won’t be coming until 2025.

This isn’t Siri 2.0 yet. This is just some of the features of Apple Intelligence. It’s a bit complicated but Apple has said Siri 2.0 is only going to be in Beta early next year.

I'm in both Apple's and Samsung's ecosystems and love that they are copying each other on certain things. Samsung is taking heat for copying Apple but Apple just copied Samsung on the colorful edge lighting. LOL! I'm not mad at all - I love that feature. :)

How do get the new Siri after update
UPDATE: Click on the intelligence and Siri section, and make sure your Siri voice is set to American, mine was set to Australian accent but it told me I couldn’t have it in there, once you change it there should be an option to enroll in it, takes about 25 minutes for everything to be set up, also it’ll make you redo Siri
