Very respectful debate by Carlos and Mario. May God continue to bless you both as you study to show yourselves approved, workmen of God, rightly dividing the word of truth. I think the Unitarian teaching is more in alignment with what is revealed in the scriptures. (Oh, I live in the British Virgin Islands, Caribbean)

Excellent opening statement by Carlos. Very compelling. Although I also think the passage in john 1 is linked to proving Jesus is the prophet like Moses of whom YHVH said he would place his word in and that this is one of the major themes of the gospel of John.

Thanks Tracy, Carlos and Mario. I enjoyed the debate and it has strengthened my faith. I must admit though that I got a bit confused at about 1hr. 15 min? regarding what binitarian is all about.

About half way through. This has been good so far.

The binitarian fellow presented good points for recognizing Jesus in the prologue. His big mistake is that he still thinks the prologue is talking about Genesis creation. He seems to think even the "world" in John 1:9-10 is the physical planet.

The Jesus who is the Word in John's prologue is not a 2nd "pre-incarnate" g/God, but the man from Nazareth. The Gospel of John (including the prologue) is not about the Genesis creation. It is about new life that comes to be through the man Jesus of Nazareth.

If Jesus is heaven now as a mighty spirit creature how is he coming again to sit on a throne in Jerusalem to rule the Earth as a man ( now visible) A spirit is a higher creature than a human, no is reversing that not belittle Jesus Christ?
