Why Am I Catching So MANY Shiny Pokémon In HeartGold! I caught 8 shiny Pokémon in under 5 minutes which was absolutely insane. People said the shiny odds in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet were insane? They have nothing on this!

You accidentally triggered the cute charm glitch. It’s very rare.

Jigglypuff has sing, witch makes it easier to catch shinies or legendaries

also, while not as severe as hoen, there is still a fair amount of water youll need to cross so having a pokemon like totodile that can, and probably will, use surf is just convenient

Just remember don’t ever go into wild pokemon double battle causes your game will crash cause when you run into 2 shiny pokemon at the same time the sparkle animation is popping off the 1st pokemon but the second one never sparkles and because of that the game crashes
