It’s a normal Friday. I begin my morning routine with my coffee and yoga, I have breakfast watching the weekly “Bad news for Boeing” video by DJ Aviation and then head to work.

The Boeing 787 is a wonderful airplane and it's sold pretty well. The A350 is also a great airplane as well and excelled on sales too. The 787s success came right when Airbus was going to have the A350 as well. Of course both types have had their setbacks, but they slowly became great selling airplanes. However, Airbus has already a planned A350 freighter, while the Boeing 787 freighter version is still a possibility. The Boeing company is hoping for the 777-8X freighter to receive certification. It's taking Boeing quite a bit of time to solve some of their outstanding issues.

When I heard that Boeing was dismissing thousands of workers i wondered how this would help them to catch up production and reduce backlogs. Perhaps by making their reduced workforce rush their work even more? 🤔

When will boeing realise that if you treat your workforce like slaves they will respond by doing as little as possible and as badly as possible. They only have themselves to blame

If they were creating a safe product, they wouldn't have so much oversight.

Hey man. Boeing finally got rid of the DEI department. As a machinist and a union steward at Boeing. It's a start. I believe we will vote to accept the new offer by a slim margin.

Despite a Boeing fangirl (Sainnt) constantly bragging about how successful the 787 is (from a sales) perspective, care to explain the colossal loss of over 6 billion for the third quarter? Losses from previous quarters are excluded.. Oh, wait, I guess his typical response would be:
- The A350 program will never be as successful as the 787.
- Boeing is not losing in the narrow body market as they're not competing with the A321neo; WOW.
- We have the ongoing 'successful' 777x, 737max, space, and military programs, and we all knew how it all went recently (Flopping, eh?)
By the way, Airbus's balance sheet and sales tell otherwise despite your futile efforts to discredit the A350 program. Whoops.

What nobody's addressing is that it only takes 50% + 1 vote to go back to work for the strikers. If that happens, you're gonna have half the company still completely off at boeing and a lot of the old talent is leaving, they're not gonna dig theirselves out of this by not providing a decent contract to the workers

this is the effect of greet ruling a company. I stil can't believe nobody has been put in Jail for the lives of 600 people. I'm Angry at boeing

The lack of safety issues resulting in mechanical failures is directly contributed to it's assembly work force ( the IAM union) because they are the ones assembling the air craft. The Boeing CEO and upper management are not directly responsible for these failure. We all need to remember that in every industry the workers have the final say in how assemblies are completed. For example the CEO is not going to come down to the assembly floor and tell a worker to not install all the bolts on a door so it does not blow out mid flight.

DJ must have missed the fact that they just raised about $25 billion in the markets.

I believe that the FAA is being extremely tough may be to tough I understand that quality control is important but if Boeing is showing improvement than the FAA should back of a little, that’s just my opinion of course.

To continue the certifying process of Max9, 10, 7 would be a mistake ... because of the major designing flaw of the system wing-engine. That flaw affects the very core of the functionality of such an aircraft -> the way that becomes airborn & stays/moves in the air.
So, those models should be abandoned - without regret - because they are junk ... & Boeing should focus on designing a new narrow body model.
Only proceeding like that ... Boeing would send a strong message that they have left behind them .... the days with tricks of marketing & PR stunts ... covering the lack of solid engineering ...

Lucky for Boeing that they're not competing directly with the MC-21.
