Best review of the Dremel 4000 kit I’ve seen yet. Most just said: “Here’s the 4000.. here’s the on / off switch. Here’s the dial for the rpm’s. Good luck!”

Thank you! I just bought my first one today and I never would have figured some of this out on my own.

Thanks! I just upgraded to this from the little tiny stylo dremel because I needed something that could fit larger sanding wheels on it, and I had no idea what the attachments were or how they’re supposed to fit in the case haha

George Dremel is the inventor of the Dremel tool. I found this out from somebody back in 1984. Your friend, Jeff.

Hi. Do you think the dremel 4000 is strong enough for using for drilling 1/4” reamer holes in maple wood using the dremel drill press?

Thanks for the video! I'm wondering about my Dremel 4000... Can it take 1/4"? If so, why doesn't anything come with it? Thx !

Question! If I cut hard metal like heavy nails and pipe what cutting wheel should I use? The rotary 4000 with the reinforced wheel?

I bought a wal mart rotary tool 2 days ago, I tried 3 grinding heads and fell off between 2 inches to 2 feet of use. I returned it the next morning and had to go to a different store for a real Dremel.

How do you get the other attachments on? You showed everything but that.

the dremel branding being used as a broad term for all rotary tools actually isn't a good thing for dremel, there have been several cases where a company's brand name has been used ubiquitously and losing their trademark because of it, escalator and yo yo are some examples of this happening.

A Dremel tool is a GREAT 😊 tool for sanding, buffing, polishing and cutting, even drilling. Routing is another great 😊 thing (with the routing attachment). ALWAYS heed the max RPM speeds on sanding wheels 🛞, buffing wheels, etc. DO NOT EXCEED RPM speeds of whatever bits or attachments are used. You can be seriously 😒 injured 🤕 by a disintegrating wheel, for example. Tip, always let the tool do the work for you. DO NOT force the tool, this may cause the tool to slip, causing injury, shorter tool life, and motor burnout. Also, DO NOT use bits or attachments, unsituated RPM speeds for the job, etc. injury, or tool/attachment damage can occur. Again, your friend, Jeff.
