I'm obviously not the only person who's stunned that Dremel's own customers are the ones educating us on their tools, and not Dremel themselves. You're a God-send Johny. I wasn't even going to purchase one, assuming it wasn't compatible. On Home Depot's site when asked how/if it connects, and to what models, is says "Contact Dremel Support"....smh. I hope Dremel has sent some love your way. You're directly responsible for at least one sale. Given that I'm 2yrs late, I would say much more than that. Thank you again! 👍

I got an idea about connecting the flex shaft to the Dremel unit. It was the other end that had me tearing my hair out as to how to connect the tool accessories. For a moment, I thought the special Dremel package that I bought came with a small part/attachment missing i.e. the other end of the flexible shaft that holds the working accessory (the 'chuck'). Seeing your video suddenly gave me the idea that I remove the tool holding 'chuck' from the main Dremel unit and simply attach it to the flexible end. Bingo! Thanks for the video.

Dremel manual writers are probably ex-Ikea manual writers who in turn wrote Shakespeare with typewriters. I couldn't figure it out until I saw your video and eventually found the metal piece taped to the inside of the box after seeing your video so thanks very much for making the video.

Thank you so much for this video! I was having so many problems with mine and after seeing your video I realized I had left the tiny metal collet thing in which made it all fit only halfway. Removing that allowed it all to go together rock solid.

Thank you. I bought a Tolsen 79555 rotary tool and yours is the first one to explain in detail how to attach the flex shaft. Apparently took off the little square head too and obviously the shaft didn't move. Thanks a bunch and don't forget to tighten the screws with the small ranch given in the box. Otherwise it might come loose and seriously injure you.
