This homeschool year has been very busy especially for my 2nd grader. Today we look at her homeschool year end review and recap. She has used The Good and The Beautiful, Christian Light Education, Institute of Excellence in Writing and more. She joins me in this 2nd Grade curriculum review to give her personal opinion of her 2021-2022 year.

The Good and the Beautiful is genius with adding the fun stuff to the pages. My daughter loves G and B handwriting from that and begs to keep doing one more page

We love CLE also we are in 109 getting close to finishing :) My kiddo isn't a fan of all the problems either sometimes but I think it's so good, plus they mix it up with fun things so its not a whole long page of just problems.

The beautiful thing of homeschool is if they are advanced in one area, they can have fun and learn it and not be stuck to a classmates level.

Love seeing this. I have a second grader just finishing up...so torn on math for 3rd. He loved TGATB math 2 so anything less "fun"might not work. I really want to try CLE though!

She’s definitely not alone in disliking handwriting! My 3rd grader thinks his little hand is gonna fall off if he has to write more than a sentence or two lol.
