Hi Kris, I do agree with you that hiding everything in menus is not always a great idea. On the other hand, lots of functions are only setonce and then never again afterwards (Mirrors, seats, even temperature etc.)
What's more Polestar uses the Android Automative system, with near flawless voice recognition.Thus I consider the problem of the submenus being relative considering all of the above.

And last but not least. You can configure quite some shortcuts that lead you directly to the settings.

As an Audi Driver I would pick the Polestar 4, it's cheaper & has a much more high quality interior then Audi does. Why pay more to get less? Yes the Audi looks nice from the outside, but I sit inside and if I pay a premium price I want a premium interior and that is something in which Audi has been lacking a lot lately...plastic plastic plastic and that ugly piano finish in the middle console and with the A6 even on the door of the driver seat where you press all the buttons for windows, etc..

Audi prices are crazy. I loved my A4 Allroad, but even if Audi A6 Etron would cost the same as the Polestar 4, I’d choose the Polestar 4.

As an Audi driver for years; If it weren't for the fear of Polestar going bankrupt; Polestar 4 guaranteed! Finer exterior and interior. The plastic interior in today's Audi EVs just isn't premium at all.

So what should I buy next? Maybe a VW iD 7 GTX station wagon? 3-400K NOK lower than a comparable A6 e-tron Avant?
(Maybe you can take a comparison of this two?😉)

Or maybe wait for the upgrade of a Tesla MY, and save another few tens of thousands? Bigger storage, nicer plastic in the interior, fewer kilos to carry around, and more fun to drive!
( The biggest problem nowadays is Elon himself😖)

And when you mention knobs vs menus. I think you need more attention to select the buttons in the door handle of the Audi than in a menu right in front of you.😉

Audi e-tron doesn't have V2L functionality. And it doesn't have 22kw AC, so the charing speed is actually slower than the PS4 sometimes

My brother is a fan of the polestar and they do look good, however as a retirement present to myself, I am going for the S6 Avant. Not as good as the concept but close. Thanks for the great channel

I saw a Polestar 4 today, looking good! Funny thing that I checked the plate and it was bulit in Sweden, maybe a prototype as I live near their proving ground. Built in Sweden in the middle of May. I am also a little concerned about Polestar, are they going to exist in 5 years, I’m not sure actually. Geely has so many better selling brands so they may transfer the good parts to them and end Polestar.

I think I'd go with the S6 as well. Only because where I live there are multiple Audi service centers where I bring my car in if needed versus one Polestar (of 3 in the State) 50 miles away. I'm also not sure how the tariff will affect the Polestars price.

Sorry but A6 is just miles ahead of Polestar in terms of EV specs. Polestar might have slightly better materials and infotainment. But for me, a sedan guy, the polestar is out of the question.
