I think another big problem that's hardly being addressed are all of the underground deals for literally pallets of GPUs to mining warehouses. That shit should 100% be public record when it's not going to retailers.

Current PC gaming situation: I'd rather play on the lowest possible settings, or not play games at all, than pay $1200 for a card that was supposed to cost $450 a year ago.

This could potentially kill PC gaming at this point. If you want a decent gaming experience it's either the cost of s small car, or a console.

People will just get tired of it and buy a console.

I knew from the beginning that when this card was announced it was targeted to be sold for minning.

These companies may not have been able to do much of anything at all for the shortages of silicon and other materials they needed to build these cards. But they very well could have done something about the scalpers. They just didn't. They don't give a crap about consumers. They only care they make a profit and they don't give a damn how.

I call foul on giving 52 billion to Intel. They and others are making record profits. A loan would make more sense. You know, one which they actually have to pay back.

So next year Nvidia will announce it will stop making gpu for gaming and only mining card because it's more profitable.... Anyway the chip shortage has been pretty annoying for more than computer, Friday when choosing my new car I was told the delivery date will be May depending on the model, of course more expensive car could get delivered in January....

4:21 but isn't a 3060 LHR? My 3070 Ti is LHR and its hash rate is in the low 30s, unless you tweak ram speeds.

I feel so bad after getting rtx 3080 a week ago. All the excitement before is gone, now all i feel is just confuse why i paid $1350 for that.
