I'm an MIS junior, and I got an internship this summer as a product analyst, I also got offered a software developer internship as well, so it is very broad and definitely and S tier.

Great list. I believe you're undervaluing the business administration & general business degrees. While they are general, they open the door to almost any business specialty (accounting, finance, marketing, etc). For someone fresh out of school, these degrees are pretty good options.

Excited to see how next year goes for everyone in school!

I think the real estate degrees deserve a higher ranking. Most of the degrees I’ve come across have a commercial real estate finance focus that cover acquisitions, development, and asset management. But it is very specific so I can see it falling into C tier.

Can we please have a video on Public Relations?

And Advertising too?

They are both very similar, since they're under the marketing umbrella

MIS is completely dependent on your program. I feel like it's a high risk, high reward type of major. With most of them end up doing finance and supply chain work after graduation.

Glad I'm early. thought of a question earlier today. When getting an MBA, do you think it's necessary to stick to the same area of study? For example, I am getting a BA in MIS but have always been big into Finance. So I planned to do an MBA in Finance but now am weighting out other options, like Global Management/Supply chain and operations management. Maybe even use it as a video idea like "best combos" or something

one thing to note about degrees in HR mgmt is if the college is academically aligned with SHRM. Going through a SHRM aligned program allows one to test out for it much sooner giving them a big leg up on the competition. Getting SHRM certified is the future of the profession and in 10 years no one wanting to work a prominent role in HR will be able to do so without it. I'm not advocating for it to be in S or A tier but I think factoring in SHRM should give it a solid B tier with A tier potential in the distant future.

5:50 I think he conflates agribusiness degrees with running a farm. Ag degrees can help you understand the logistics of food and the agricultural supply chain which can unlock many careers.

Your demand score should be renamed to degree recognition. For example the degree Management Science may not have a high recognition, but the skills from the degree may have a high demand. You should rather look at the skills and what is the demand for them (this would improve your ranking a lot).

Thank you very much for the rating. Out of my experience real estate deserves a higher rating. I can only speak for the german market, but here I got 6 different job offers directly after undergraduate degree, ranging from a start up to the most successful employers of Europe in their branche. As real estate already was specific it was very general in the area of real estate and as almost every industrial company need buildings for producing products or IT hardware, it was very easy to be competitive against marketing, accounting, finance or other business area students... so there are a lot of other jobs than real estate agent which are paid well. But I totally agree you don’t really need a university degree to become a real estate agent
