As a gemologist and certified pearl grader I can tell you right now just by looking at the pearls that they are dyed. Naturally occurring colored pearls are mostly seen from saltwater. The shells themselves on the lips are usually colored with a luster. The color of a pearl comes from the lips of the shell as well as other particles. These pearls are most likely freshwater pearls that have been dyed. A quick way to tell if a pearl is fake is to grind the pearl with your teeth “delicately” and if it’s gritty then it’s real. Otherwise it’s glass or plastic. Another trick to tell if it’s dyed and has a drill hole is to observe the hole to see if it too is colored. Real colored pearls will be colored through all the layers of nacre. Also any mollusk is capable of producing a pearl, although only those mollusks that have shells lined with nacre produce pearls that are used in the jewellery industry.

Honestly if I were to show up to watch a pearl party and the hosts were going off about some drama or hate or some shit like this, I'd be super turned off. This feels very unprofessional.

Imagine going to school for four+ years for Nursing which is incredibly hard & competitive only to throw it all away to be a “shucker”. Nursing is a highly respected career. I’m embarrassed for her.

If this was "real, " there would be a TON with no pearls at all. That's the give away. And the shape of them is always so perfectly round and the colors are rare in nature.

As a nurse that has to buy their own scrubs, I don’t consider that me “paying to work.” Most people I know have “work clothes” and “non-work clothes” so my scrubs are my “work clothes.” My siblings wear business clothes to their office jobs and other clothes at home. They’re not “paying to work” if they want to buy a new outfit… Her point about scrubs makes no sense. If I had to pay for the alcohol swabs/needles/syringes/IV tubing/etc when I was at work, then that would be a valid point.

When someone says they'll pray for you in a snotty way, just say: "thank you. I need the prayers and you need the practice!"

Calling slicing open dead oysters "wholesome" is very suspicious...

A little while back I commented on this live saying “oh so it’s like lularoe” she got so mad, spent 5 minutes complaining about it and then blocked me 😂

I've been getting really into pearls recently (ironically started after I saw CC's video!) and all of the pearls being perfectly round and almost all the same size is a BIG red flag for being fake (or farmed, which is fine)
However if you want to talk sustainable pearls, Kamoka pearls is a Tahitian Black Pearl company that does REAL sustainable pearls! The oysters are gently opened while still alive, the pearl is removed, a new kernel is placed inside to jumpstart new growth, and then they are replaced into the Oyster "Apartments". They stated that they don't know if oysters feel pain, and that's exactly why they are super gentle with them.

Side note ...the colors of some of those she is opening are so off-putting.

Nothing like hideously dyed pearls with excessive plastic and animal waste.

I make beaded jewellery as a hobby, and when she held up that first blue pearl all I could think was "I'm pretty sure I got a strand of those for $2." And I bet her house smells great 🤮

My daughter that's now a teenager used to watch these pearl shucking videos ALL the time! She was heartbroken and thought I was lying when I told her they were fake. 😂

I feel like mocking someone for their cute Christmas lights is the epitome of "low vibration stuff."

From an animal ecology standpoint, this horrifies me. I can understand eating oysters for food/nourishment, but this is unnecessary animal killing.

“She makes her living tearing people down.” She says as she passive-aggressively insults someone who made a video about her scammy business. 🤦🏼‍♀️
Also, there’s something about watching her push the pearls out that makes me want to gag.

We live in a society now, where someone’s own opinion or critical feedback is labeled as “hating”, etc. The reason they get so offensive is because they know their is some truth to it. People are allowed to disagree, not believe in the same things, nor accept scamming MLM’s. The entitlement on princess is on a whole other level. 😆

when you said "it's gambling" and then suggested it be pokemon cards, it finally clicked for me. it's loot boxes. smth the gaming industry has been heavily criticized and in some countries, has had restrictions placed on due to the gambling aspect and addictive potential.

Also doing this without gloves is gross. Formaldehyde shouldn’t be handled. She’s wiping it on her pants. This I feel will end in a class action lawsuit.

She said that oysters are prolific. They are not. There’s an oyster shell shortage. I know someone working on 3D printing shells that the oyster larvae will nest in because there aren’t enough shells.
