Santander Bank Polska is a universal commercial bank offering a wide range of banking services in domestic and foreign trade for individuals and legal entities. At the end of H1 2024 Santander Bank Polska Group employed over 11,000 employees and serves around 7,400,000 customers.
 
On 1 April 2011, the bank joined the Santander Group – a leading commercial bank, founded in 1857 and headquartered in Spain and one of the largest banks in the world by market capitalization.  

The bank's strategy is to maximize Employee Experience and Customer Experience under the name Total Experience. That's why Tribe Digital HR is constantly looking for ways to simplify, automate, and optimize processes so that the bank's employees are satisfied, use intuitive tools, and focus on improving the daily customer experience. 
 
HR systems are linked to government legislation that changes frequently, so the provided tools need to be flexible to ensure that any modifications, updates, and fixes are implemented quickly. Since Santander Bank Polska is also part of the Santander Group, they use common global tools that are great for handling global processes, but there are occasions when local needs require additional customization. Thanks to APEX, they could eliminate a lot of emails, excels, shorten processes, and address local needs that are not always available in global tools.
 
In 2019, Santander Bank Polska explored the potential of APEX and developed an application for registering R&D Relief. The APEX solution helped to meet the project's goals and opened the door to the broader use of APEX technology within the bank.
Today, they have developed and deployed over a dozen APEX applications to enhance the daily work of the employees.
