Wattles you are the reason how I get my Minecraft information 😊

Your Nether portal looks good. I use a bucket of lava and short acting button (stone) instead of water to break the portal. Lava flows so slow in the overworld that it is retracted before getting anywhere. This frees up the build to not have to account for overflow.

Flying machines are cool for bamboo and sugarcane farms.
Make a big field of one of these and put flying machines to harvest them, you will have more crops than you know what to do with.

One thing you can do with the clock tower, is to install a bell so that away if you aren't looking a the clock tower you still hear it.

Flying machines dont work anymore they just move back and forth now just fyi for anyone trying to build one like this from now on (noteblocks dont even give off a signal when you hit them anymore)

for the respawn anchor one, you could make it cheaper by replacing the redstone dust above observer with a solid block.

contraption #1: interesting, i havent (but some day plan to) make a life in the nether, this might be of particular use
contraption #2: love flying machines and using the noteblocks.... well i gotta say those are so much better than trap doors, thank you for that.
contraption #2: a wattles original ;)
contraption #4: nice new hidden passage style, looking forward to it.
contraption #5: interesting, chnage with the skulk sensor

In bedrock, you can actually place chests in flying machines to deliver your itens!

There is actually a lot you can do with chiseled bookshelves, I'm interested to see where we will see this in contraptions come 1.20.

You can use furnaces instead of obsidian to stop flying machines

Love the Nether portal, Wattles; that's one of my favorites. I actually use Powder Snow Bucket in the dispenser, it's waaaay less messy. ;)

What about a skulk sensor for the water release (on nether portal) that is near the door/exit to the portal room. That way it will close the portal as you leave the room, no need for a button.

In my opinion, maybe in the future, wattles might become a famous YouTuber.

You and mumbo jumbo are my favorite minecraft youtubers 😊

Definitely like the second one. Ideally for a bridge to cross an open section of space between a build I think is how I'm gonna use it.

I haven't played the newer Minecraft versions in so long, so when he started talking about chiseled book shelves I was flabbergasted.
