I’ve used the mofi 5500 routers with both AT&T and Verizon with no problem whatsoever.

As a tip, Mofi and T-Mobile uses Phone data and not hotspot data. So if you use t-mobile and want unlimited data use the magenta MAX plan.

Thank you for the video! I’m trying to build a temporary mesh network in a field and am researching all my options.

I bought the 5500 dual SIM and I’ve had it since Friday. I’ve been trying to use Visible and AT&T. I found that I could get Visible to work on my own but I experienced very frequent data disconnects. After much effort I decided the only way I could get AT&T to work would be to purchase a hotspot directly from AT&T and then move the Sim to the MOFI. Time will tell if this will work permanently. As for the Visible frequent disconnects, it’s mitigated by the fail-over to the AT&T modem I have set as secondary. Just before I found the solution I was requesting a return from MOFI. So it’s working but it cost me many hours of effort and almost $300 for the AT&T device.

MOFI needs to get the major carriers to recognize their device IMEI’s as approved devices. Probably easier said than done.

I currently live an RV Mobile Home and my internet options are little to non. Now am able to change that but I have concerns. my spouse and I are about to buy the 5500 EM-9191 models states that it will support 5G I've done so much research that I have been convinced it will be a good purchase. but I've also read plenty of bad reviews that makes me doubt my decision. Have you upgraded to the new model? Would you make a video on website set up.? and any other advice. thank you

$50 unlimited T-Mobile Internet Business works great with BYOD routers if you can get the right rep but MoFI really needs to improve their customer service.

I bought the MOFI5500 and spent a day trying to get it working with a Verizon SIM. NO GO. I returned it.

I also purchased the 20 CAT MOFI 5500, they prematurely sold these units without getting the firmware figured out, I've had mine a month being not used because I'm waiting for a firmware update that was 2 weeks away last week. Customer service is non existent after you make the purchase, they ignore emails and tech tickets on their website also go without a response.

You have to activate the sim in your phone first before you put it in the Mofo

Man, you should either turn the background music way down so it's barely audible, or just disable it completely. It's just so hard to hear you, and I'm really not here to listen to music anyway. Just checked your T-Mobile internet review video, and it seems like you still have the issue a year later.

Just some constructive feedback.
