Straight talk att Sims work good for me. You gotta set your ttl settings to linux 265

Using T-Mobile unlimited phone plan. 2 options. Buy sim card from T-mobile store and advise you don't have your new phone yet. They register the sim in the store. Just pop it in the mofi and set ttl. Option 2. Buy T-mobile sim from big box store. Register the sim online. Set it up and make phone calls through a phone. Then pop it in the mofi and set ttl. If you get the big box sim you have to have a phone to complete the set up. I have done both options. Running 2 Mofi's on a dual wan router. Now my internet is Army strong.

You talk about carrier aggregation on my mofi internal modem settings there isn't a carrier noted and on the provider selector was on generic. And access point was on auto. My daughter loves to play COD. We were doing good with download 15+ and upload was 11+ doesn't sound like much but without an outdoor antenna it's all we had. But then I went to do firmware update and in the process get stuck in a loop and we had to do factory reset and since then we are stuck with upload of only 2-5. Is there anything I can change in the settings to get back to what it was? And yes I've done the band locking can only get band 12 to work. I've learned allot already on the few videos I've watched of yours. So thank you for that. Sorry if this sounds like a stupid question. I've repositioned antennas, moved the router to various locations. Thanks in advance.

what is the model of your mofi 450? It’s my understanding that the mofi sims8 or later works with more carriers?

Quick signal check question. When you are aiming two antennas do you disconnect one. My quick signal check stays on band 13 so i cant hunt for anything else. Or will a band scan that shows everything be better? Thanks

Hey John, hope you survived the freeze in Feb. my neighbor is gonna do the Mofi4500 with Visible. When I bought mine in 2018, it was the MOFI4500-4GXeLTE-SIM4-COMBO V2. Now when you go to Amazon or MofiNetwork site, it seems like the versions and SIMs have changed to V3 and SIM 4, SIM 7 or SIM 8. Do you have any insight into this. I mean if you were to buy another one, which one would you go with?

Hey man I just my Mofi SiM8 model just ordered Wide Band antenna should be able pick them up tomorrow. I just got a Metro PCS by T-mobile it work fine. Just signal is weak pulling like -115 dB on average. Theirs like 4 Cell towers near like less then 5miles. I just be ok with my antennas just have a lot of trees. Any other tips I should do. Also I have no pole mounts yet. Thank you for your videos helped a lot.

Only carrier here with any kind of signal is Verizon. Visible since November with the Mofi. 40 to 50 Mbps down for a few weeks and now throttled. Just ran Ookla and have 5.3 down, 4.6 up. Speed works for us even though we both work from home. Zoom and Teams work fine (even at the same time) and streaming on Hulu does not buffer. Not a gamer but I suspect I’d have problems. Here in the Vermont sticks I can get Starlink but what we have works. I was not going to do an install in 2 feet of snow at 0 deg F that will cost me $500 plus $100 per month.

hey john i have been watching your videos for forever and i have a mofi 4500 with 2 parobolic grid antennas and a hi boost 4k plus cell phone booster inline with the mofi. verizon took my grandfather sim just 3 months ago, i ended up not fighting them anymore to get it back because of visible vs $115 i was paying verizon for that sim and visible was 50 to 65 download for about a month or so then i have been throttled since, but was gonna try to find a work around to get back my fast speeds but figured i dont have the time as of yet so just waiting for starlink to come through some time this year .the tower iam connected to is just over 6 miles away and the ones closer are slow and congested, i also upgraded my router 3 months ago to a tp link ax6000 which is pretty impressive . ps im sending this message for the first time on you tube ever, so hopefully i did it right and just to try to help some one but the most helpful thing might be tying in the hi boost cell phone booster into the mofi for a big improvement to my signal on the mofi and also still able to have our cellphone signals boosted with just 2 parobolic antennas total, if you need anymore info just message back, keep up the good work by the way jody is a he not a she "you know, boys rule and girls drool "

Page plus 200g at a time, usually last 2 weeks for me. Couldn’t spoof it with nord or express. Anyone else have anything that works on m4500 sim4?
