Sensitive Content: Trauma Release Exposed | Releasing trauma from the body is a powerful experience. All mammals, including you, can do what you will watch in this video. Chase Hughes led myself and another participant through TRE (Trauma Release Exercise). Trauma release is not something most people are used to seeing, but I firmly believe this type of healing work NEEDS to be de-stigmatized. This was the first time I experienced TRE in this way. In the past, I have experienced shaking and releasing of trauma through Somatic Experiencing, both with a practitioner and on my own.

This isn't sudden. This woman didn't just suddenly get so deep into whatever the hell is happening to her. She understands the process, she's experienced at it and knows how to achieve the level of subconsciousness required to get to this point. I'm certain she's done alot of other healing work in her lifetime that lead to her being able to get to this point. Just to be able to let yourself go and be so vulnerable in front of a bunch of strangers as well as post it for the world to see requires ALOT of confidence, self-love, and self-assurance ... things that are not quickly or easily acquired by people who need TRE to begin with. Just the same, well done in your achievement and thank you for sharing.

I remember seen things like this when I was in the church, they used to say it was liberation from "demonic" forces. Now that I am getting informed and healing myself all of it was the body releasing, processing and regulating the nervous system. I have experienced this during events that are very triggering and I am so grateful for it because it helps me regulate and release the event.

I am experiencing deep grief and am physically hurting aswell, especially the hips. I came across an exercise laying on your back, feet togetther, slowly lifting the legs and stay there. And the legs started shaking after repeating the 2nd time and got more after the 4th. But sofar just the legs. Watching you is powerful. Thank you for sharing this amazing video

Watching your experience was very reassuring to me that I was well invested in to my healing subconsciously that my TRE experienced was very similar to yours Kate, I could not control the shaking and the vibrations. I did feel the best release afterwards. I am so happy you had the courage to share this wonderful video. We should not be afraid of our gifts to heal our bodies and powers. walking can help also..
if you listen to your body your arms will swing and you will help rewire your brain and posture.

i’ve done this method in the video, and i’ve also done it with super slow movements…

i didn’t have any training or wasn’t taught, but figured this out by listening to my body..
also a good rebounder helps a ton!!

It is so good to watch that others do it as well. I never had any kind of training, being doing TRE alone at home. I guess it looks like an epilepsy attack in my case. After about 10 minutes of TRE I feel like a newborn. I wish to have a proper training but it is so bloody expensive in London I cannot afford. Try it at home you won't regret it!

I’m glad she experienced this release. It’s something I am learning about. If I may, I couldn’t understand why the facilitators didnt provide a comfortable, clean blanket or sheet for the participants or some type of mat instead of dirty hotel carpet? It seemed odd from my first time seeing this perspective.

I clap for you, I have the same experience after 1 month deep meditating. It last 2 years for me and I continue it. I don't know when I healed completely

if you fatigue the muscle shaking occurs. Its a good way to release tension quickly. You can do it at home.

I go that deep to subconscious through holotropic breathing and I have experienced it for the first time myself. Thank you for sharing this experience

I had this done after my car accident and it was very emotional and hard, after that I had brainwave treatment. I am a survivor of TBI. Just watching this I am getting some anxiety. I remember what I felt after this 😢

I absolutely love trauma release through movement. It’s so empowering and terrifying at the same time. I’m curious though, I would be absolutely uncomfortable to be moving in such vulnerable position with men video taping me and have brief pauses of jokes and laughing while in these positions. How did that make the woman feel? This is fascinating.

I do TRE regularly for about 3 years now... but it does not do anything than release tension from my experience... If you have fears that keep causing the tension, the tension comes back quickly. Example - if you fear going to the dentist and you have an appointment in a few days, every day you can do TRE and still quickly tense up.

I love that you shared this! I’ve done rebirthing a few times and wow it was profound! Similar to this! And what I see is (correct me if I’m wrong), you are running then purging and healing/letting go of your past! Love this and thank you! So many ppl don’t know about this method to release trauma from the body!

This was extremely helpful to see, it brought greater understanding for me in how to use this tool and what it might look like for different people. The dialogue in the video was also very helpful and informative. I’m grateful to have found this post.
