Works great! Follow exact steps. Note: VERY IMPORTANT If your username is 2 words or has a space, use quotation marks before and after it when typing it after net user. Otherwise, the password request won't appear. Another 3 lines will.

Worked a charm, 6 years I've been trapped out of my laptop for and this worked.

Only issue I had was I had 2 drives, one contained CMD but not sethc and the other had sethc but no cmd! I copy and pasted so both had what needed and it worked then.

Just did this on 4/15/23 and it worked! NOTE: Where his said "paige" mine said "test" instead of my user name. I just used "test" (without quotations) and it worked.
