Defining 'saved', OT vs NT salvation

The scriptural definition of "saved" is consistent throughout the Bible. What changes is (1) what a person is saved from, (2) how a person gets saved, (3) how a person stays saved, and (4) what extra benefits are given to a person who is saved. Those things depend on the context and/or dispensation and are not part of the definition of the word "saved" itself.
