I think it is useful to mention that "Kurios" was used as a circumlocution, a way to avoid pronouncing the name out of respect. Something that Jesus did as well. This explains why the Greek word is "Lord" and not some other word or name that could have tried to evoke the meaning of "Ehyeh".
Also, I think Matthew 28 "lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Is very much a reminder of this meaning of the name of God.
