When Eleven said he had rebuilt a TARDIS before, he wasn't kidding. During his exile on Earth in his 3rd Incarnation, he had disassembled the console piece by piece, which actually advanced his knowledge of the inner workings of a TARDIS.

The "700 years" part threw me a bit. Took me a while to remember that the Doctor was 230ish when he first left Gallifrey. Excellent attention to detail by the writers.

Is it very wrong to say that I love Tardis/Doctor *very* much? I like most of the other ships in the fandom, too, but these two together are just...so sweet and wonderful. Truly the old married couple who bicker and yet accept anything from each other and is always there when needed.

One of the best and important lines of all time for for me: DOCTOR complains about his time machine not being reliable says "You didn't always take me where I wanted to go" To which the TARDIS replies "No!, I always you *needed* to be".. WHOA very deep.. That sums it all up show's entire 50 year franchise for me.

This was such a cool exchange... the whole episode is something you think would only happen in fanfic, but they actually did it and it was actually good, you know, how you would imagine the TARDIS' personality to be from what we saw of her all throughout the show's long history.
