Yes! My Mother always froze the cake shortly after it came out of the oven. She said that was one of the secrets to a great cake.  So glad you shared that tip.

a few years ago, my aunt told me to NEVER freeze a cake because it made it dry. I dd not believe her, and now I know I was right! XD

Do you frost them while they are frozen or wait til they are thawed out?

I turn mine out of the cake pan as soon as. I can handle without getting burnt, and wrap right away, but don't freeze. That works well too. I don't refrigerate my cakes either 😊

Oh okay. I always stick my cakes in the freezer but after completely cooling on the racks first. Will definitely use this tidbit next time (if i remember 😅😬)

How long does it take to thaw? Can it be left out after frozen for a couple days or do you need to assemble it right away?

Quick question regarding the info on this video: freezing I understand but what about left over cake, can it be refrigerated as long as it is in a closed container? Or can cake just sit out on the counter until it has been consumed? Thanks !

hi, may I know what can we make sure that the cake will not turn dry after we freeze it. I have try to freeze a mud cake before and it turn out to be dry. I have seal almost 5 to 6 layers of cling wrap. May I know where did it go wrong ?

Hello. If the plan is to layer and frost the cake a whole day or night before an event due to time, how do I keep moisture in?? Do I freeze the whole cake again? Can it be refrigerated at that time or just left out??

Hi Ashlee...I'm hoping you could help me. Since you normally don't refrigerate your cakes, how do you prepare them for delivery? For a Buttercream tiered cake and fondant tiered cake? Thank you so much!
