One of the best tutorial videos on this matter. No jibber-jabber and storytelling. Right to the point, clear and brief. Thank you.

The funny thing is that, instead of recognizing how dirty and uncivilised they are, people dare to criticize something that would just make them cleaner and healthier! The fact is that you only rely on your daily shower, while we clean our intimate parts every single time we go to the toilet, other than having a shower. Do the math of who's the nasty one here...

This proves there's a YouTube video for everything. Thanks so much!

We use the bidet every single day to wash our intimate parts after every toilet use. It's simply delightful.

I really do not understand why people do not approve the bidet! I read that many people think it's not hygienic because the bacteria remain after using it. The shocking thing is that you do not realize that by saying so, you admit that even after toilet paper there are bacteria on your body! Actually, you prefer to have bacteria on you that in the bidet!? I think there's some misunderstanding about how it works: first the Italian bidet is not like those in Asia where water is sprayed directly on the private parts. There is a faucet that is NOT IN CONTACT with your body, like when you wash your hands in a sink .
Usually it is used to refresh and keep your private parts clean, between a shower and the other, or after using the toilet. And you use it with SOAP that, as you know, has a SANITIZING POWER!! On average each person uses it at least once a day. Obviously I would not use the bidet to wash my face, but it is assumed to be cleaned as everything else. You have to think that before using it you used the toilet paper, so it's not that you are excessively dirty. Furthermore, people in Italy use the bidet only at home and not in public toilets, where there are not even a bidet!

Italian friends, do not be surprised if the Anglo-Saxon people do not want to use the bidet even when they know what it is. In reality they are afraid, using it, to no longer be able to recognize the front / back of the underwear

Ok, I am a white Canadian male.  Years ago, I was renovating the main bathroom and my wife asked me to install a bidet in the washroom as part of the reno.  I figured why not.  Since I was in there already, it was not hard to add another water supply and drain.  Since that time, I have done 2 more bathrooms in the house and added a bidet to all of them.  I'm sold on the technology.  They're very handy and great for cleaning up.  Let's face it, sometimes you get a clean break (you know what I mean) and sometimes you don't.  You can wipe your butt with an entire roll of toilet paper and you won't get it as clean as you will with a bidet.

Anyway, I kind of marvel at how few North Americans figure they need or should use a bidet.   I get a few odd comments when people come to the house and snicker about our bidets, but my response is usually, "I love getting head and going down and after a long day at work, a bidet makes that so much better for everyone"  Then I just watch the reaction.  (Thing is, I'm not lying - nobody, at least me, likes a smelly crotch.)   And on that note, the woman making the video demonstrates how a bidet can be used by women to clean up the front gear, and both men and women to clean up the back gear.   I would add, guys, you can clean up the front gear too.   You'll get more and better head from the wife (hopefully).  For this reason alone, bidets are a work of art and engineering.

The Bidet use is after toilet paper! It suppose to be a further igiene care. Also for intimate igiene before to go bed and after sex.

I, male, discovered the bidet on holidays in France when I was 21. Since then I have one installed one in every house I have lived. I use it every day and the bathtub only once every 2 years.

The bidet is what we Italians mostly miss when we are staying abroad! Not our heavenly food, we can survive without it (just for a few days, of course 😂), but "his Majesty" the bidet. Every Italian house has it, I mean private houses and hotels. You won't find a bidet in a public toilet, it would be definitely unhygienic.

Thank god you made her actually sit down. I was terrified I was going to rip this thing off the wall when I encountered one. Caution, you will regret not having one after you have used one!

I have a bidet in my home, but mine is attached to the toilet. I love it, and yes, I used bidet when I was stationed in Italy and France. I use toilet paper after the bidet shower to dry my bottom, not before. They are far more sanitary than toilet paper.

In Finland, we have a hand held shower head to clean up with, which is hooked up to the under-sink water supply. No extra toilet needed.

I'm Italian, you need to use toilet paper as well before washing yourself and you need to use soap and warm water, for your feet you can either wash them one at a time standing up or both of them at the same time sitting on a chair facing the bidet and adding the lid and filling up the bowl with warm soapy water and you don't know how much it can be relaxing especially if you feet were cold, you gotta try and let me know. 😀 by the way where do you live in the world?
