European bidets are ok but really the best ones are Japanese or Korean. Hands free bidet with multiple settings such as oscillation, uv disinfection, self cleaning with water, air dry, etc etc.

I had an after-market bidet installed on my regular toilet before my hip replacement surgery. It even pre-heated the water. It made recovery a lot easier!

As a child, my mother taught me how to use a bidet because both my parents were from Italy. Gioia del Colle, Bari!I only spoke Italian as a little girl. Once I went to kindergarten, I learned my English and so did my mother. I go to Italy very very often. I truly enjoy watching you guys both and I wish you lots of luck Being blessed with a baby soon. Im American and my first time using a Bidet was during my trip to Punta Cana. I had a luxurious hotel resort and it was in the bathroom opposite the toilet. I loved using it.

I visited a home in Norfolk VA about 20 years ago that was initially owned by a Middle Eastern Family. They had a bidet installed when they moved into that house. The next owner did not remove the bidet, but rather made it into a gold fish bowl so there was entertainment during one's daily constitution. The bidet bowl was complete with greenery for the fish, colorful stones and a pump for aeration. It was delightful, at least for the fish!

I bought a 20 dollar bidet from Walmart 6 months ago. I'm never going to buy toilet paper again 😂😂😂 seriously the same roll has been there for 3 months

Excellent! I'm in SoCal and have been in the habit of washing after using the toilet for many years now. I will NEVER use only toilet paper. It gets rid of chunks, but the residue and stank remain unless you wash. I love how you explained this, very clear instructions. I wish bidets were the norm for all American toilets.

My Thai girl friend made me add a "bum gun" to my toilet. For about $30 bucks simply T on a kitchen sink spray gun onto the toilet supply line (should add a shut-off valve to gun line). Same idea, once you're done, a quick rinse while seated for a better clean. It's a fraction of the cost and easy U-do plumbing. Down side of the Bum Gun is that it can be a bit of a cold shock if you're not ready, but well worth it.
