How to Clone Your System\Windows Drive for Free Using DiskGenius

If you have a need to clone or make a bootable copy of your Windows drive to either move everything to a larger drive or replace a failing hard drive, you can easily clone your system drive to a new one using the free DiskGenius tool. This program also has many other disk management tools that you can take advantage of.

I had problems with the disk clone option. The cloned disk wouldn't boot, giving me a error code and blue screen. None of the F1 / F8 options worked. I used the original disc to boot and tried to repair the cloned disc, but this didn't work and I had to give up. Eventually, I re-cloned the source disc using the automated boot option. Maybe that's the key to success? I don't know. It's working okay now, despite a warning message about a file that wasn't copied.
My advice would be to stick to the method described here.

Hi, question, when selecting os migration (system migration) - does it transfer everything on the c drive, including the operating system of course but also programs, file, and partitions? Also I notices you moved the destination drive partition slider all the way to the right, correct? To accommodate all the partitions on the source drive? thank you for this video and your reply!
