NVIDIA RTX 4000 - IMPRESSIVE!

NVIDIA recently launched its RTX 4000 SFF Ada graphics card, showing the incredible power efficiency gains that the Ada architecture brings to GPUs.

The NVIDIA RTX 4000 SFF Ada is the smallest workstation-grade Ada GPU that you can buy. It does cost around the same as the RTX 4080 at $1250 US but the latter doesn't come with the Pro driver suite and extended capabilities and support associated with the workstation family. It makes use of the AD104 GPU with 6144 CUDA cores and offers 20 GB of GDDR6 memory.

I have always loved graphics cards that require no external power. But I loved the size of the a2000 more than this one. But it's also commendable that they kept this to 1 pci slot size.

It's the fastest sff board power only card available. But is it 2 to 3+ times more than the A2000 and not much faster for the money. Huge premium for the fastest sff and completely not worth it for me.

Due to economic reason i stopped upgrading to rtx 4080 from rtx 3070, perhaps next year

Interesting, so much like the 4070 they sacrificed performance for efficiency. Guess it's not just the consumer market getting hosed.

The only thing impressive about this garbage is the sheer level of hubris Nvidia has to put on that price tag on it.

Im sticking with the AMD 7000 series because 7000 is higher than 4000.
