Hey y'all! Today we are making my brother in law Russ' red beans and rice. Now I can make some dang good red beans, but I when I stayed with my sister a little while back, Russ made these and I was sold! I told him I needed the recipe so I could share this yummy recipe with all my youtube friends! So y'all be sure to make them...and then thank Russ lol.

RED BEANS:
1 pound red beans, dry
1-1 1/2 pounds sausage, cut up
1 onion, diced
1/4 cup jalapenos
4 tbsp butter
2 pks goya chicken bouillon
8-10 cups water
salt and pepper, garlic and onion powder to taste
Cut up your onion and sausage and add them to your crockpot. Rinse your beans and add those to the crockpot. Add all the other ingredients right in also and give it a stir. Cook on low until they're as done as you want them. You can start them in the morning and cook them all day on low...or you can do like I do and start them late at night and let them cook on low all night and all day! Don't forget to make you some rice. That's it!
