I’m hopeful for someone who loves God, and points me to scripture many times, and prays for me and my family.
He’s got to come on board and pursue me, too, though. God is protecting me right now and guarding my heart. And leading me through His word.
Pursuing God is the best way, because it’s God’s way, and serving Him. And praying for this person when I have to give him space. God will be glorified either way. ✝️

My thing is when I strike a conversation with a woman if she likes what she sees and hears she’ll stay in touch with me. And share life with me a woman knows what she wants moment she lays eyes on a man like us guys do when see what we like and want.

There is this very faithful woman I’ve met online. The most Proverbs 31st woman I’ve ever met. She’s older than me, and I have assumed she is more faithful than me. But I’m doing my best to love her as Christ does, and I’m letting her go from my mind, and I’m not putting any pressure on her or a relationship. If it happens, it happens. If it does not, it does not. But I want to be by her side, and I have a bit of hope for more of a relationship, but I know that God has His plans, and so I will let her go. And if the relationship proceeds, I will cry of joy. And if it doesn’t, I will still love God, and cry of joy because of what Jesus has done.

God may be waiting on you instead of the other way around. If you’re stuck; take a leap of faith, and He will lead you to the Way; His Son.

Thanks for putting it plainly brother Mark. My thought is, too many of us as American Christians over spiritualize getting married from a few fears:
1. Marrying the wrong person and being stuck.
2. Orphan-spirit mindset of not disappointing the Lord for pursing He may have explicitly said yes to via audible confirmation.
3. Similar to point 1, missing out on a "better option".

While yes, Holy Spirit is active and present in our pursuit for relationship and marriage, a part of the way He leads and guides us in all truth and righteousness in this area are by the biblical principles of the word, and also, His nuanced ways of communicating with us as we get to know other brothers and sisters ( peace, discernment, red flags, green flags, simple commonalities, etc).
