Xbox One Review

Scores are just reference points. They should never replace information or opinion. Even then, review opinions are subjective - it's up to the reviewer to give you a sense of their preferences. To those that seem to be suggesting the PS4's 8.2 vs. X1's 7.8, well, think about this:

You're talking about the difference between having $10.40 and $10. Ever tip someone 40 cents? 

I'm a console gamer first, so I'm really loving both consoles. But there's work to do if either PS4 or Xbox One wants to be a masterful product.

If you're unsure on which console to get just get the console that your friends have, you'll have a much better experience.

honestly, get whichever has the exclusives you like and the one that your friends have. That is what will really make your gameplay different.

b)dropped the kinect
c)have become more gaming focused.

I love how no one is saying the features on the XboxOne is a gimmick but when Nintendo does something different like the Wii or Wii U it's a gimmick.

It is stupid to review a console. I understand impressions but Xbox One and PS4 are meant to become more and more awesome in the upcoming years.

I said it on the PS4 review and I'll say it again, reviewing a console is silly. Things are going to be so different a year or two from now and that's when the vast majority plan on purchasing one.

I laugh when they say xbox one is a gaming console first. I have an xbox one, so far it has been pushed mostly on tv and a ways to socialize with friends. Xbox one should not fall in the category of a gaming console, instead it should be just an entertainment system. Gaming is not the only focus Microsoft has, so we should not expect the support we had on xbox360.

Both this and Rev 3's review is curiously high quality. I mean, the pan around 3D shots of the console? That's leagues beyond the usual quality reviews and feels more like advertisement work.... It's weird
