Find Game Save Files in Windows 10 | Search By Modify Time | Process Monitor

Find saved files for games that save progress to disk. Works on Windows 10 and 11.

First part is about how to use File Explorer to find game files by modification time without needing any additional software.

The second option is Process Monitor, which shows the files a game is accessing in real time.

Searching multiple directories by modification time in File Explorer:
(folder:(c:) OR folder:(d:)) datemodified:11/8/2019 4:00 .. 11/8/2019 4:25
(folder:(c:\Users) OR folder:(d:\games)) datemodified:11/8/2019 2:58 PM .. 11/8/2019 3:01 PM

P.S: Use language and date format of your own Windows settings when type keywords like "datemodified:", If the search doesn't find anything.

I usually do a google research and find the info but if, in the future, the lazy and simple google solution fail, i'll have your tutorial :) I ll keep it under my elbow (oups i mean up my sleeves, word to word translation is not always a good idea).
