This New Jeep Gladiator Is Proof That You Don't Need To Break The Bank To Buy A Great 4x4 Truck!

Trucks are getting more and more expensive by the year, but there are still some affordable options — especially if you're willing to spec a manual transmission. While the Jeep Gladiator Rubicon is definitely a pricey truck, something like the Sport model proves you don't have to break the bank to get a good off-road capable rig.

We have different definitions of what affordable means

Nathan Jonesing for a discount. We are so desensitized to ridiculous prices that 40k sounds reasonable.

I really wish TFL would’ve done a deeper dive into these sport models! You guys didn’t mention the max tow or the willys package which would address most peoples “base model” concerns

The best "cheap " gladiator to get is the max tow option . 410 gears stock, dana44 hd axels front and rear, bigger alternator, better engine cooling sytem, and also a limited slip rear diff . Its the best kept secret .

I have almost this exact truck. '21 Sport S w/ six speed in white. Best vehicle I've ever owned, absolutely love it. If you need a Rubicon, buy a Rubicon... but most of them never even see the dirt.

I bought my Gladiator Sport S back in June and I love it. Thankfully I got a Chrysler employee discount and it was already decently discounted due to covid. Saved about $5500

Nothing quite like driving a manual transmission. I have always enjoyed them. Nice to see some manufactures are still offering them.

I used to own a '97 Jeep TJ w/manual. It didn't have lockers or a selectable front sway bar. With help from a buddy, installed a RC 3" lift and 33" Duratracs. Also installed a big-man extension for drivers seat. The TJ was amazing off-road. You don't need lockers to go off-road. The Gladiator Sport is a relative good value. Throw on a leveling kit, wheels and 33s and you have a very capable jeep, which fits 90% of the buyers out there.

I'm about to pick up a manual 2021 Gladiator Sport with a manual for 33k brand new out the door. This video did help with deciding which one to get.

Glad to see Jeep offers a manual. Still pissed at corvette for ripping out the manual gearbox from our clutches.

All those reasons are why I went with the rubicon because I couldn’t build a sport to a rubicon for the price deference.

I love the out of the box thinking of these videos. Keep them coming. It is always more interesting to show these out of the ordinary videos with truck packages/trims that real world people can afford and ultimately get and drive. Just like the wrangler sports, rangers xlts, etc. Loved the video!👍🤙

I own the manual sport gladiator and I’m 6’4” I sit comfortably in it and it’s incredibly fun to drive and the max tow package on it makes it tow pretty well
