Tommy has really come into his own on TFL. Becoming one of my favorite vehicle reviewers.

Call me weird but the steelies are probably my favorite feature on the entire truck.

I went for the ecodiesel option. Full tilt. Absolutely love the rig. Power is fantastic. I've had to take a couple of trips to Oregon from Colorado so I've already got miles on it. The last trip out and back I got 34 mpg. Granted some of that mileage was following big rigs doing 75-80 mph using the radar cruise control. Note: the radar cruise is amazing - set it and it will follow (pace) the next vehicle in front no problem. Even if the followed vehicle comes to a stop- the Jeep will stop fully also. At that point the CC disengages. When the traffic starts to move simply tap "resume" and it takes off again. Absolutely effortless to drive. With the Banks Power mod it would be absolutely no problem with 40's and re-gearing wouldn't be necessary. Towing? You bet. This is way more torque than the gasser.

Bought from Johnson Auto Plaza in Brighton, Colorado. 😁👍

Yes, the Decked option seems like a huge waste of space. Granted the plastic is so heavy duty that you could load a pallet of wood stove pellets on top of it no problem. But the option is way overpriced for what you get and it is not easily removed should you need to haul a bulky item.
I have the Mopar lights on the front bumper - yes the are expensive no doubt but they are well built all metal casting and CRAZY bright. Would definitely buy them again.

I'm not sure what happened in the industry where people expect pickup trucks to drive like 1970 luxury sedans, but the Gladiator is fantastic. It's raw it's simple it's purposeful and unique. There's nothing like it in my opinion. And the fact that you can get in a manual is fantastic for us who will forever embrace manual shift ❤️🔥

First time I see a video telling me how not so great the deck system is. I love this channel

I'm 6'1" with a 36" inseam. Recline the driver's seat about two inches. It makes all the difference in the world.

Thank you for the honest review of Decked! It is massively overpriced, and under-engineered. It is a plastic warehouse pallet with Home Depot drawers!

When we tested a Rubicon Gladiator, we used a sound meter and we measured 71 decibels at 50 mph. On the same day, we measured a Honda CR-V EX-L as well on the same exact roads and it measured 72 decibels at 50 mph.
We were impressed and bought the Gladiator two months later.

Great review. I enjoy Tommy's sensible advice about features and options that meet needs and not just wants.

That decked drawer thing honestly looks so useless just get a box and it'll do the same thing and take up way less space

I have had a 2019 Grand Cherokee limited with the same V6 as the gladiator for the past two years. That engine does not deserve the hate it gets. It's smooth, quiet, adequately powerful and not too much of a gas hog.

Jeep really needs to bring back the 4.0 straight 6 ! Best Jeep motor ever made . Love the Steelies get cap to cover the rust .

I'm not sure if you've seen it, but they make seat brackets that give you an extra 4" or so. Quadratec stocks them.

Nicely made video. Excellent narration. Well filmed and edited. And Tommy knows his 4-wheel drive vehicles. Thank you & well done, TFL!

I _love_ this kind of review Tommy. I bought a 7 year old 2013 Land Rover LR4, 6 months ago based on your other videos. The LR4, with it’s 375hp Ford 5.0L V8, has been one of my all-time favorite trucks. That’s saying a lot, since I used to be convinced that I would forever be a full-size truck driver.

I’m looking forward to the long-term review on TFL’s (3rd) Defender 2, and hoping you’re the one to make it — snarky comments and all. 😂

Nooo don’t sell it, this is the best build you guys have ever done. The truck is so cool and I still love seeing it in videos. Please make more content with it.

@10:16 "it's hard to get it into 4Lo"
That's because you guys are doing it wrong! The manual clearly states to have the vehicle rolling at 2-3mph when shifting into 4Lo.
