He is always smaller than his enemies just like in the souls games purely for gameplay purposes (Even Zhu Baije is taller), but inside cutscenes, he's actually a lot taller, sometimes as tall as the bosses.

The animation is done very well, however, it missed the 16-kilometer-tall Mighty Miracle God（巨灵神）. At the start of the game, he stands behind the Four Heavenly Kings. Erlang Shen and Howling Celestial Dog (the black dog) stand on his right shoulder.

People might be surprised that Wukong is short. JTTW said pretty clear that he's just a monkey wearing clothes, looking skinny and a little bit scary.

Giant monkey wukong looks too small compared to 4 kings. They were pretty much same size. Also, you missed the biggest character in the game - the big blue guy from the intro, the one whose shoulder Erlang and his dog were standing on. I forget his name but he is a well known and largest of Chinese deities. I know you dont get to fight him but he's right there in the intro side by side with the others for easy conparison.
