It's called Equinox for a reason. I love its design. And I like LS trim with comfy cloth seats and an 8-way-powered driver's seat. Cheap leather is something I hate.
The 1.5-liter engine turned out to be smooth and efficient, with decent acceleration. Steering is fabulous.
The infosystem is good. Some people are complaining about the display's size. I am wondering: what are they displaying on the screen? I have three computers at home. I don't need another one in the vehicle.
I have 65K on my 2021 model. And I am going to buy a new one.

I’ve got a 2018 with about 100, 000 miles on it. Still drives like it did when I bought it. And it’s still reasonably quiet and comfortable on long trips. I just finished a 968 mile road trip, and never felt my 0 to 60 was a problem. Oh, fuel economy, I averaged 32.1mpg for the trip. My experience, it’s been a good vehicle and still looks like new. If your thinking about getting one, very important, keep up with ALL the schedule maintenance things and you’ll be fine. My one complaint is the display for the radio. When the sun is shining on it, it hard to see. Older models had a visor built into dash to shield the screen from direct sunlight, otherwise it’s been good for me.

Ride quality “not too bad”. Last three rides Jeep Wrangler, Infinity Q60 3.0, Ford Mustang...it is a treat to drive the wife's Equinox. After driving the other three it’s like a magic carpet ride dude. “Comfortable” great Hwy cruiser. MANY new rides suck. Especially that Jeep! I’ll never even rent one again!

I like the buttons and knobs which are faster and safer when driving. Having to go into the infotainment center is slow and annoying, not better. The Equinox Premier offers so much more than Toyota or Honda.

Well I have 22 LT with Metallic blue it’s beautiful. I get a lot of compliments no granny car in my opinion

All the negative comments have no merit. I own a ‘23. Absolutely no issues with it. Go ahead with the “but it won’t last because it’s a cheap 1.5 liter, blah blah blah”

How many v6s, v8s have issues, are being recalled? Sadly 4 cyl is the sign of the times. Mustang, Charger, Challenger, Camaro all going away. “They” are shoving EVs down our throats. I won’t buy an EV. I wouldn’t drive one if it was given to me. There is nothing wrong with an economical SUV or CUV. Keep your complaints for something that merits them.

Just ordered the LT version in white. While you rate the outside 5/10 I prefer the clean lines. Not everyone is a sporty personality and as a senior the clean appearance is eye appealing. Too much clutter and distractions are not appealing to all. Premier version is nice but the extra features don’t make it function any better and the significant price increase is hard to justify if you are on a limited budget. I do agree the operating screen for accessories is too crowded and very distracting while driving. Our current Encore Essence has the same design and is definitely distracting while driving and frankly most of the extra options I do not use. This is a reasonable review of a nice, functional vehicle.

$38, 000 and it does not have adjustable height seat belts. Little things can make a huge difference.

I am waiting to see what the 2024 Equinox EV vehicle has to offer. I will still keep my 2001 Monte Carlo, but want to try out an EV for my driving around town needs since I am retired.

The 4 cylinder engine is a deal breaker for me, I was very happy with the V6.

The Equinox is decent inside and out with a very mediocre powertrain with no better options. No hybrid option is not good. Still dubious about $30, 000 EV.

This is a very nice SUV. The fact that he’s pronounced the word Equinox wrong in this video tells you everything you need to know. He comparing it to high end luxury brands.

Your rating of 6 out of 10, is not bad, although I disagree based on the "value for money" aspect of this vehicle. The Japanese and Korean vehicles although superior in quality, are extremely overpriced.
