New Alienware QD-OLED Monitors, Laptop Updates | Dell at CES 2024

Dell is always one of the biggest players at CES, even if they don't have a physical booth there. This year, the company hasn't slowed down, introducing two new QD-OLED gaming monitors, updates to Alienware gaming laptops and peripherals, and a complete refresh of the XPS laptop lineup. The new QD-OLED monitors are certainly the star of the show, but the sweeping changes to the XPS laptops are a big deal. Meanwhile, the new Alienware laptops and accessories look like solid additions to their various lineups.

I don’t know why tech reviewers assume every high refresh rate display at 27 inches is for competitive gamers. Plenty of people are happy with that size and refresh rate for story games as well.

Hugely disappointed they didn’t update the 34” QD-OLED. I love my ultrawide and don’t want to go back to a 16:9 ratio.

Currently I run a 1440p/270Hz/IPS Monitor. But I also have an 65" OLED TV 😅. Everytime I Switch from OLED to IPS, I whine about the poor Image quality of IPS.

Honestly disappointed that there hasn't been any updates to the qd-oled ultrawides - as someone that works in 3D the form factor is great for screen real estate.

Also I take issue with calling the mouse symmetrical when the side buttons are only on one side. I'm a leftie and there are so few options out there for us, often at additional cost. I know that's necessary from a business POV but it's still unfair - we can't help it hehe!

I am surprised that there is no update to ultrawide QD-OLED monitors. When there is a 38-42 inch QD-OLED 21:9 best 4k or at least 1600p at 240 Hz, then I will be an instant buyer.
