How to enter DFU mode without boot button or boot pad

-Step1: Connect FC with Betaflight
-Step2: Go to CLI tab
-Step3: type below string in command box:
BL
-Step4: Press Enter to enter DFU mode

I'm using Betaflight 10.4.0, the BL command returns "Unknown command, try 'help'", and the DFU command simply disconnects the Flight Controller and COM1 is shown in the upper right corner instead of DFU. So the Firmware flasher says "No response from the bootloader, programming: FAILED".

In inav simply type "DFU" and press enter in CLI

I found entering BL worked if I left the battery plugged in while I disconnected the USB connection. When I plugged the USB back in DFU was one of the connection choices.
