I know this will be hard for you liberals out there to understand, but he was just giving her a hard time. Which means he was using sarcasm when he told her to leave. He didn't actually want her to leave. He was simply making light of the situation. Words can have multiple meanings. Such as you can say one thing and mean another. I know those are hard concepts but ill let you think on that for a while.
