After a string of public feuds, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump found a new opponent at an election rally in Virginia - a crying baby. After initially saying he loved babies, even when they cried, he later told the infant's mother to "get the baby out of here".

Many years ago, a symphony conductor I worked with stopped the concert because of a crying baby and ordered the baby out of the auditorium. OK, conductors tend to be prima donas. But every time Trump opens his mouth, I flash on that incident.
