Four shot including 6-year-old child; mother dead, suspect died by suicide

A 6-year-old child is in critical condition and her mother is dead after a domestic violence attack that spanned two counties on Sunday morning.

Law enforcement officers say Daquan Marcato Jones, 32, of 1301 Leggett Road in Rocky Mount, shot four people – a mother, her child, another woman and a man – before dawn in Sharpsburg.
