New Jersey boy, six, shot dead by four-year-old brother

A New Jersey police cordon is seen around the place where a six-year-old boy died after being shot in the head by his four-year-old brother. The children were playing outside when the younger boy went inside, got the .22-caliber rifle and shot the six-year-old from about 15 yards away in Toms River, New Jersey, on Monday.

This is why registration, background checks and periodic training and re-licensing should occur. Those guns were not secured. How does a 4 year old get his hands on a .22 cal. Bad parenting and gun ownership. Registration and mandatory FFL inventory are necessary to keed guns off of streets. Licensing and mandatory training should be part of our gun culture. If you have kids you must have a gun safe, just like you are supposed to have a fence around your pool.

What kind of parent lets a 4 year old play with or even have access to a gun? The parent should do time. And to top it all off we will have a pack of know it all news whores who will cry about how it's the fault of all gun owners and we need to take it out on them. FFS people grow a friggin spine and take responsibility for your actions.

This is another example of how stupid society is getting.
