8:30 I know no one may have noticed, but from a drummer to another, that catch after losing the stick was a really good save after an 8m long footage, good catch man and video too, i think that making the whole video again because of a stick loss would've been a pain in the ass, it happend to me once, im pretty sure u thougth the same! KUDOS

You clearly can drum, you're right on tempo of the song (with the drums underneath) but yeah, you're missing a ton of the fills (as you said).  Your starts are stops are solid but gotta nail those fills for Caravan, that's the whole key to why it's so difficult, how you have to dance around the kit while maintaining the ride and snarework.  Just staying on the ride and snare is kinda cheating... but it takes balls to put yourself out there like that.

Steve, I've been a novice drummer for 12 years or so, and you ARE NOT a Hack..!!  Amazing how you picked that up so quickly by ear, you're truly talented..  Apparently there are dozens of Buddy Richs' out there (none of which we've heard of which is kinda odd..??!!)..  You've inspired me to take some lessons and invest in a new kit (new DW or Vintage Ludwig.???)... You rock bro, and yes, you're basement acoustics are sweet.. I have a small house where we jam in the living room and the bass and electric just sound perfect accompanied with my old Sonor 5 piece.

recorded an hour after listening? it had a lot of differences to the song sure but the drum solo was fucking outstanding, first one I've ever seen longer than 6 mins too so props to u dude great job!
