This is an misconception sir.A correct explanation of why the polythene bag filled with air is, would observe that the plume follows the curve of the walls and that a curved streamline will develop a pressure gradient perpendicular to the direction of flow, with the lower pressure on the inside of the curve. And as the walls of the polythene get on it's full shape the outside air entered inside to full fill the lake of pressure due to increase in volume.
