I asked the world's top Fortnite players how much money they earn.

We're living in some of the craziest times in history... you got high schoolers making six figures a year playing Fortnite 😂

There's no excuse for being broke these days.

I know a lot of friends who tried to become professional gamers (they went all in on gaming and skipped school). Out of all of these guys (probably 30+) I know one guy who actually managed to do something out of it. He is signed to a mid level professional team and makes about 50k from his org, he doesn't stream that much but could probably make more if he really wanted. The rest of them made no or very small amount of money, so they doesn't really have anything. A lot of them invested their teenage years into gaming, have no social life, no education and no real motivation for anything, a few of them even depressed.

So becoming a pro gamer is not easy, and it's a very risky way, you need talent and a lot of dedication. Unfortunately most people won't make it at all, and the chance of making as much money as the guys in this video, is incredibly small.

This is so amazing!! I homeschool and my son after school absolutely loves playing on his oculus! He plays with different people all over the world. He is very good and getting better!! Gaming is one of the easiest things to get into but probs one of the hardest to make good money from. I would recommend staying in school or at least getting a part time job and streaming on the side
