I’m a devotee of Mother Hekate and the words she spoke to Medea touched me and I cried! I’m so grateful that Mother Hekate has come in my life. I resonated with those words entirely! Thank you Mother Hekate and thank you for delivering this message!❤️

Another fun fact....in some tellings, Medea is a child of the sorceress, Circe. Who in turn is a child of Hekate Herself. Making Medea the grandchild of Hekate....

A little footnote fact...Hekate sometimes is said to have also shown Medea being berrayed. Medea chose to go with Jason anyhow..

Media didn’t kill her children after all. An oracle made the town pay honors to her, and to rectify the confusion. The towns people killed them.

Fun fact. While killing ones parents was an Evil thing punished by the Furies, the Kindly Ones....killing ones Children had no such

Make no mistake, Mythology junkies, according the the Medea mythos, all of this stuff is legit. HOWEVER, we have historical references to Medea, as well. There is plenty of reason to dispute her killing her children. I shouldn't be up now and have work in the morning, so I'm not going to go deep into references, but one such history relates to us how angry Medea was a the men who had spread the lies of her killing those children and threatening to curse their city. So frightened of her were they that they begged her to take it back. An agreement was struck up that they would build a monument to her, one that stands to this day. Her name is also the root of the word "medicine". There's so much stuff to tell about our Biblically vilified Lady Labylon, but I'll stop there and leave the rest to anyone with an interest in this sort of thing to dig up the true-true for themselves.
