I love the fact that the first time Pain meets Kakashi, he says "'I'm honored to meet you."

Kakashi was the only thing that got me through the first several horrible cheesy episodes of Naruto before it started to get good on the bridge with Zabuza and Haku.

The way Kakashi handled his life really makes Sasuke look like a pathetic crybaby.

I swear, some scenes with him are the saddest in the series. When he told Sasuke, that all people he loved are dead (he also smiled when said that), when Obito died, when he tried to wash his hand from "blood" the next day after Rin's death

He did laugh when he took off his mask and it was another mask

Let's see some of the worst "moments" of Kakashi's life from birth to the events of N.S. (because I was thinking about it yesterday) :


1- His mom died when he was either a baby or a toddler ;

2- His dad killed himself rending him an orphan ;

3- He fought a world war ;

4- His friend died saving his life ;

5- His other friend killed herself (second suicide in his life) using him for it and earning him the nickname "friend-killer" ;

5- His father figure and friend, Minato, died (Kakashi is 14 years old) ;

6- At 13 years old he joined Anbu, having not only to go through who knows how many difficult and emotionnaly draining missions, plus being in charge of killing traitors and desertors ;

7- During his time as an Anbu, one of the member of his team (Rho), Itachi, apparently betrayed Konoha after killing almost all of his clan ;

8- Later, the Sandaime, whom he was somewhat close to died ;

9- His ex-friend comes back and torture him ;

10- One of his student became a desertor, the other two leave him for other teachers/mentors ;

11- His friend (not the closest but pretty close, I'd say as close as Lee is to Naruto), Asuma, also died ;

12- He died

13- Finally, the friend he thought dead, who had a major influence on the person he became, on his values, came back as a vilain.


And through all that he's managed to stay a good, sane, and still somewhat positive, person. You go Kakashi.

Kakashi experienced loss on so many levels. He lost his parents, teacher, and best friends. Having to live with such pain isn’t easy, but he managed to overcome it all! So much respect for Kakashi

honestely this is why I was so glad that at the end Gai lived. Gai was the only person from kakashi's childhood that constantly supported him and survived, staying by his side no matter what. Having Gai die at the end would just be a repetetion of 'people kakashi love are doomed to die' and kakashi doesnt deserve any of that any longer. He can now finally live the rest of his days with his husband.... I mean, eternal rival
