Who's your favorite Naruto character?

If you pay attention, Sasuke's greatest weapon is his mind. In some of the major fights the villain acknowledges Sasuke's ability to think clearly and calmly in battle

What I love about Sasuke is as a character he never remains static. He changes sometimes drastically based on new info he learns. There are so many different versions of Sasuke throughout his life and he's fascinating to watch. An active player in his own story.

Sometimes I think Sasuke was the true protagonist of the show, Kishimoto gave him a lot of development and was involved in basically every important event of the story

I will never understand the Itachi fans that hate Sasuke when Itachi is DIRECTLY RESPONSIBLE for most of Sasuke’s actions

Some other Naruto Youtuber did an analysis of the scene where Sasuke almost kirins Team 7. He made the observation that Sasuke deceives basically everyone there. He pushed them to defend their lives, then he made it look like he was about to kirin them because he knew Orochimaru would step in to stop him, then they left. He manipulated Orochimaru into convincing Team 7 he wanted to kill them, but made them feel like insects when he just kind of defers to Orochimaru and spares them, effectively letting them go on a whim. The whole point of the scene was for Sasuke to convince Team 7 that chasing him is futile and to stop trying, which is what he was trying to do since he first left The Leaf Village.

Considering the 4D chess he played while fighting Deidara, it's not that hard to believe he was playing 4D chess back then, too.

I am really surprised that Sasuke didn't suicide himself or end up being in the asylum for the rest of his life. Itachi was really lucky (thanks to the plot). He saw his parents die 518400 times for 72 hours. That's insane dude

Sasuke is one of the few characters that had development in the series. I think the hate he has is so undeserved, even thought itachi saved his life, he fucked up him a lot and then finding out the truth, how is he not wrong on wanting revenge on Konoha? His storie is in my opnion the most tragic in the series.

The Sasuke that was standing above Danzo at the 5 Kage Summit, absolutely steeped in darkness and hatred and focus, is one of my favorite characters in the entirety of Naruto

Lets be honest now…. Sasuke and the whole Uchiha clan carried this whole show, everything that was mysterious or interesting was 90% related to the Uchiha’s.

I think the leaf failed Sasuke because there was not much left for him to learn if he stayed in the village at end of P1. He already learned the strongest jutsu from the strongest jonin in Konoha.

I love your base thinking and down to earth vibe. Highlighting good writing, storytelling and real character development. You really got me learning more about the story of Naruto. Not just power scaling and what ifs

I think Sasuke would thrive with the public were Naruto to be released nowadays because the stories in shonen are now more realistic with more complex characters. Sasuke was ahead of his time in many ways which is the reason why he's so influential. Also, in my opinion, he is the perfect shonen antagonist with the way he constantly moves the plot forward by challenging both the heroes and villains alike without becoming too far gone. Kishimoto's writing often left much to be desired but he put every ounce of his talent with Sasuke because he's incredibly written and the main reason why I still fuck with Naruto the series now that I'm in my late 20s. I don't know if I would still be into the series if there was only Naruto as the MC because he's too much of a Mary Sue for my taste.

Sasuke is and will always be the most developed character in Naruto

Kakashi made a mistake. His trying to stop Sasuke's revenge only agitated him. Sasuke simply could not let go. To do so would be a betrayal of his family.

Sasuke has the most development in the entire series and i can kinda undestand why people might not like him but to say that he's a bad character it's outright stupid. Once a friend said to me that the main reason people don't like Sasuke is because his character it's in the shounen structure and in this stories you can't be an antihero but Sasuke's story in a seinen series would be a masterpiece to watch and i agree so hard to what he said. Naruto can't would never have an antihero because you need to either be good or bad

sasuke had the most interesting character arc in the story. meanwhile naruto more or less stayed the same guy the entire time.

Itachi was a toxic influence on Sasuske. Why the hell was he just torturing Sasuske all that while. Putting him under Tsukuyomi, telling him to kill his best friend, calling him weak. What was the point

if the show's name wasn't Naruto you would think the main character was Sasuke. He has like twice as many fights than Naruto and his fights are consistently has higher quality animations and is better choreographed. Everything Sasuke does moves the plot forwards and his character personality, motivations, and development evolves throughout the enter series. He's actually probably the most influential character in show considering that the reason there's a part 1 and shippenden is due to Sasuke's actions. And also Naruto is actually the first show I've ever seen where the main female character that's role is obviously to be a love interest not end up with the Main character. Pretty much all hero's journey type coming of age story the main girl gets with the main guy, but Naruto get the b side female character.
