Even in the rarified world of virtuoso violinists, her bow technique is extraordinary.

She is playing the original bowing used by Paganini when he performed this.

If you watch the video closely, you can she she's doing three quick downward strokes followed by 1 upward stroke (3+1). Most professional violinists play 2+2 or 1+1 which is quite a bit less difficult.
