I am a violinist and this is so much better than I could have possibly imagined it would be on any other instrument. Holy shit your clarity, musicianship, speed, and tone are just.
Incredible

All respect to almighty Steve Vai, but if there’s a rendition of Paganini’s 5th Caprice without any BS, it’s gotta be this one. BRAVO!

The best alternate picking in the world

When I was a young guitarist, I thought nobody could be able to play this piece. You made it... respect... and bravo, as we say in France. :)

That speed, accuracy, dynamics...
Paganini would be so proud of you in the hell

When god wants to improve his picking technique, he takes lessons from Anton Oparin.

This guy is an absolute monster that seems to have beat the game known as "guitar". First of all there are maybe a handful of people who can do one-note-per string alternate picking (used to be only Steve Morse), including this guy. Not only that, he has full control of the dynamics of playing (very difficult to do on guitar), and can play at probably 300bps+ with 100% accuracy. I don't know if there's a single piece of music out there on any instrument that he wouldn't be able to cover. I've played guitar for close to 20 years and this guy's skill is about as close to a machine as I've ever seen. Virtuoso among virtuosos. Superhuman beyond imagination.

Incredible playing, I am still processing what I just saw. Your picking is effortless and elegant. Your control of the tempo and dynamics really adds to the playing — there are lots of fast players, but it often feels robotic. Wow, I can’t say enough good things about this. And the tone is clean enough to really keep the playing sharply in focus, nothing hiding, no tricks, just razor sharp playing from start to finish. Thanks and regards! Jz

There are great and incredible alternate picking guitar players, but Anton is the best, I haven't seen anyone playing these incredibly difficult themes with such a effortless technique.

По-моему, в этом капризе Паганини изобразил все скрипучие двери и калитки в Италии ) Особенно скрипка их напоминает.
Потрясающая игра Антона.

Holy crap I can't believe you pulled this off so well- not even too much gain on it. I love you're staccato muting too- the dynamics are just perfect. This sounds so true to the violin version- I just didn't believe it would be possible with the leaps and no bow to pull this difficult of a piece off this well on guitar. I mean Eliot Fisk does a great job and is very impressive on classical with all 24 caprices- but this is at a different level and I prefer it greatly.

Super precise and snappy. Must have been playing over 5 hours a day for awhile. At the original and intended tempo of 160bpm. Most classical players play it at 133. Good show!

A whole lot different than the movie Crossroads. Way better and flawless as well as the actual piece, not all chopped up and made for hollywood. Me bowing down to you!
