This video provides an explanation of the sense of hearing in coyotes. Probably the most underappreciated and unconsidered sense of this amazing predator by those who pursue it with binoculars, camera or rifle. Explained by coyote expert, Michael Huff, author of the award winning book, "Understanding Coyotes."

First and foremost, I have been enjoying this series.
I was wondering, since the dogs hear a higher frequency range, how does this effect the use of electronic callers? Obviously we can pick up on the over laying sounds. Whatever that may be. Baby rabbit, distress calls, etc. Would there be underlying noise they can hear that we don’t pick up on? Like how sometimes we can hear high pitch sounds from a tv.
Personally, I use mouth calls.
Also, with the proposed Sunday hunting legislation, how do you think the added human movement will affect predator hunting or the trapping season?
