This is probably the most honest assessment of what it takes to become competent. Regardless of how you approach it (by ear or by study, or some mix of both), it takes work.

If I say "a Tal" in portuguese means "the one". Always made sense to me her name 👌💜 a bassist friend once said to me the same that she said. After that I immediately forgot about being competitive, about being better than someone. No one is the same. We all have our thing. So just go with it. Find your path as "the one" said, I mean, Tal ✨
