Great conversation analogy, Nate, makes a ton of sense and so philosophically deep of you😊

I think space and timing are very connected. That's a point a need to improve a lot! Thank you!

Great points Nate. I’m guilty of constantly thinking about mechanics when playing a match to my demise. What I do now is I only focus on my mechanics during practice sessions when using slow motion video to make corrections. Then when playing, I try to only focus on where I want the ball to go. When that’s not working the problem is almost always grip tension and/or lazy footwork. Thanks for all the great advice. Rob Burns

good tipps! a few days ago i was struggling with my forehand and then i realized that the problem was not about the stroke itself but due to lazy footwork and in consequence bad spacing. maybe tipp 5: really track the ball, watch it as focused as you can, also when you "send" it back to the other side of the court.

Great tips Nate! I love the progression from footwork to spacing to preparation. It helps with visualizing how to improve in a logical step by step approach. Super lesson! 👏🙂

Thanks--those were good insights, esp. about poor listeners.

Fantastic tips, I like to tell my clients, their left arm is a ruler and if the ball goes under the ruler you are too close to the ball. Jamie got into us open womens doubles!
